With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christopher Harris in Green Bay, Wisconsin, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on November 22, 2024 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Elizabeth Harris; his father Dan Johnson; his parents-in-law, Lorraine Tarvas, Sharon McDonald, Larry Tarvas and Ronald "Red" McDonald; his brother-in-law Clyde Tarvas; his uncles, Paul Harris and Larry Chouinard; and his aunt Darlene.
He is survived by: his friend Craig Barrett (Karen); his wife Julie Harris; his children, Michael Wienckowski (Jackie), Jamie Harris (Michael Christie) and Cameron Harris (Zach Barker); his stepchildren, Jessica LaBerge (Isaac Garside), Matthew LaBerge, Mitchell LaBerge (Tayler) and Freeman Jackson; his grandchildren, Jayden, Brooke and Benjamin Wienckowski; his mother Leanne Hansen; his siblings, Cori Harris, Chad Harris (Lesley), Jake Johnson (Katie), Marcy Johnson (Jeremy) and Chuck Johnson; his brother-in-law Bryan Tarvas (Carissa); and his stepmother Ann Johnson (Lisa). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Chris' name focused on offering scholarships to support the development of youth athletes in the Green Bay area.
