He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ackerman and Florence Ackerman (Perry); his siblings, Elizabeth Walecka (Norbert) and Tom Ackerman (Jean); and his brother-in-law Michael Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his children, Michael Kirchman, Kevin Kirchman (Ali), Paul Ackerman (Lauren), Katherene Kirchman Maxwell (Mark), Ann Kirchman Champeau (Roy), Teresa Bray (Mike), Cara Mack (Doug), Lisa Klumb (Jerry) and Rebecca Neumueller (John); his grandchildren, Kristen Champeau, Carly, Jana, Gilly Maxwell, Stephanie, Rachel, Maura, Stephen Mack, Charlie, Brian Klumb, Marc, Michael, Kate Neumueller and Georgia Ackerman; his great grandchildren, Victoria and Michael Champeau; his sister Sara Guth (Don); and his sister-in-law Bonnie Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Homeless Shelter or to the Wisconsin Humane Society, Green Bay Campus in Chuck's honor.
