It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis David Shippy of Gratiot, Wisconsin, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Shippy and Nellie Shippy (Blackmore); and his brothers, Leland Jr. Shippy (Beatrice), James Shippy, Don Shippy and Gene Shippy (Beth).

He is survived by: his wife Mary Roper of Gratiot; and his children, Scott Shippy (Amy) of Freeport, IL, Steve Shippy (Mary) of Queen Creek and Carrie Shippy Meyers (Travis) of Gratiot, WI..

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Denny's name.
