He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert McLain and Gladys McLain (Johnson); and his siblings, Hazel, Goldie Johanson, Velma Ryss, Arthur and Michael McLain.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra McLain (Hemmer); his siblings, Wayne (Shirley), Bruce (Doris), Gene (Deb) and Linda Taylor (Pat); and his children, Mary Clark (Jeff), Scott (Melissa), James McLain (Maria), Karen Hill (Chuck) and Patrick McLain. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He served as a Grand Knight and donated much of his time organizing many fundraisers and events while serving God and his faith.
