It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Michel (Grantsburg, Wisconsin), born in Spooner, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Michel and Teresa Michel; and his siblings, Eugene Michel O. F. M., George Michel, Marion Honer and Joan.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Michel; his children, Tony Michel (Jill), Tim Michel (Jennifer) and Joanie Duncan (Kevin); his siblings, Larry Michel (Helen) and Kathleen Brown (Jack); and his grandchildren, Jenna Michel, Matt Michel, Maddie Duncan, Jack Michel, Nick Michel, Jami Michel, Joey Duncan, Ellie Duncan and Marcus Michel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is before mass from 10-11 a. m. Masks and social distancing will be required for all attending services.
Dick had a deep Christian faith that was the center and foundation of his life.
