Earl Carl Hanson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earl Carl Hanson of Grantsburg, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 8, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hanson and Clara Hanson (Biederman); his wife Norma R. Quamme; his grandson Troy Hanson; and his siblings, Clarence Johnson, Vernon Johnson, Marion Johnson, Evelyn Jorgenson, Carol Peterson, Noble Hanson and Dorothy Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Goblish (George), Donna Kozumplik, John Hanson, James Hanson (Galina), Sharon Ilgen (Brett), Ronald Hanson (Brenda), Renee Hanson (Jim) and Jennifer Barington (David). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wood River Christian Fellowship (22780 S Williams Rd, Grantsburg, WI 54840). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the American Legion Post 185 (108 N Oak St, Grantsburg, WI 54840). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Wood River Cemetery.
