He was predeceased by: his foster parents, Roy Haines, Barbara Haines, James Dwyer and Dorothy Dwyer; his mother-in-law Noreen McHone; and his brother-in-law Cliff McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Carlson of Granton; his daughter Amber Niebuhr (Lucas); his grandson Bryce; his stepchildren, Tina Galetka of Neillsville, Bobbie Struensee (Tim) of Granton, Shane Nystrom of Granton and Linda Holzl of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Makala Niebuhr, Cassidy, Emily Galetka, Justin Opelt (Abby), Zachary Opelt (Paige), Andrew Robert Carl, Brookelyn Struensee, Carly Nystrom, Aaliyah, Allissa and Andrea Allen; his great grandchildren, Ella, Ava Opelt, Oakley, Zaylee, Huxley Opelt, Benjamin and Cassie Coblentz; his foster brothers, Mike Haines (Bonnie) of Granton, John Haines (Connie) of Neillsville and Pat Dwyer (Darlene) of Racine; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria McCoy and Clarence McHone of Neillsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
