It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrel Hohenstein of Granton, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Hohenstein and Harold Hohenstein; his wife Joyce Shirley Kuehn of September; his sons, Gary and David; his grandson Ross; his siblings, Gloria and Arthur; his parents-in-law, George and Fern; and his siblings-in-law, Joan and Arthur Regner.
He is survived by: his children, Gene Hohenstein (Irene), Dale Hohenstein (Bonnie), Terry Hohenstein (Tammy) and Cheryl Karl (Walter); his daughters-in-law, Marsha Hohenstein and Carole Hohenstein; his sister Betsy Severson (George); and his siblings-in-law, Romona Hohenstein, Nancy Regner and George Kuehn Jr.. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gesche Funeral Home & Cremation Service (4 S Grand Ave, Neillsville, WI 54456). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
