She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Ruh and Lorena Ruh (Brocker); her siblings, Donald and Janet; her nephew Joshua Thibodeau; her siblings-in-law, William Huske, Ted Burkart, Fred Burkart, John Burkart, Helen Burkart and Elenore Burkart; and her niece Sherry DeRoche.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Burkart; her children, Scott Alan and Stacy Leigh Hawley (Tim); her siblings, Mardell Huske, Joleen Ruh, Dennis Ruh (Janice Hovey), Daniel Ruh (Carol), Darrell Ruh (Mari), Green Bay and Terry Ruh (Debbie); and her sisters-in-law, Carol Wagner of Knoxville, TN and Marge Burkart (Fred). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorials may be given to the St. Elizabeth Hospital Foundation – Hospice; St. John's Lutheran Church Senior Choir, Kasson, MN; the family or charity of choice.
