With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Kasten of Grand Chute, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 6, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kasten and Anna Kasten; his wife Janet Schmidt; and his parents-in-law, Audrey Kasten, Dorothy Riehl (Harold), Verna Rohloff (Paul), Gilbert Schmidt (Dorothy), David Schmidt and Dick Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Kasten (Debbie), Sue Barber (Rick), Carol Mulinix (Tom) and Duane Kasten (Kathy); his grandchildren, Matt Kasten (Louise), Mike Kasten (Stephanie), Jon Barber (Michelle), Jenny Corcoran (Brandon), Scott Mulinix (Angie), Jacob Mulinix (Ginny), Elyse Andrews (Kevin) and Alex Kasten (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Zoey Kasten, Xaiver Sylfest, Molly, Erica Corcoran, Felix, Harriet Mulinix and Harper Kasten; his brother John Kasten (Betsy); and his sisters-in-law, Orla Schmidt and Phyllis Schmidt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
