He was predeceased by: his mother Ann Swatek. He is survived by: his father Peter (Karen); his grandmother Helen Proffit; and his stepsiblings, Steven Gratz (Carren) and Jessica Gratz. He is also survived by his niece and nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Muscular Dystrophy Association would be appreciated.
