He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hertel and Barbara Hertel (Langenfeld). He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his children, Katelyn (Michaś) and Erik; and his siblings, Edie (Worth), Julia (Mark), Karen (Pete), Paul, Steve and Jen Emma.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1619 Washington St, Grafton, WI 53024). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
