He was predeceased by: his parents, James Merrifield and Jeanette Merrifield; his granddaughter Maleah; and his siblings, Duane and Sandy.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Merrifield; his children, David Merrifield and Christine Fujinaka (Matthew); his grandchildren, Shane, Jakob, Michael, Macey and Marek; and his sister Barbara Multhauf (Butch). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
