She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Davies and Hazel Davies; and her brothers, David and John Davies. She is survived by: her sister Gwyn Hayward; her children, Susan Jackson-Afong (Roger Afong) and Duane Rice (Rebekah Morin); her grandchildren, Harrison and Morgan Jackson (Max Sweenor); and her goddaughter Tiffany Singer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mary's name to the Pilgrim UCC Missionary Fund or NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness).
