LuAnn Kiefer Obituary

Of Grafton LuAnn (nee Pawloski) Kiefer was Born to Eternal Life on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the age of 68 years old.

Beloved wife of Gerald L. Kiefer III for 35 years. Loving mother of Tiffany (Jeff) Baken, Troy (Janette) Thompson, Casey (David) Crawford, and Joshua Kiefer. Proud grandmother of Hailee, Emery, and Braedy Thompson, and Quinn and Jaxon Crawford. Loving sister of Quinn Pawloski. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

LuAnn loved and trusted in the Lord. Throughout the many years of struggling with her cancer, she never lost her faith in the Lord.

LuAnn was well known in the community for working at Home Depot at the Pro Desk for more than 20 years.

One of LuAnn's greatest passions besides the love she had for her family, was her love for animals. She was always donating to rescues or humane societies and, many times, you would find her rescuing an animal in need to love for the rest of their life with her.

LuAnn's two biggest hobbies were gardening in her yard and riding on their motorcycle. She truly loved nights out on their Harley with family and friends. Beyond that, LuAnn was always there to help any of her friends or family members with whatever they needed.

She was the purest definition of a loving and unselfish woman who always put the needs of others above her own. LuAnn took pride in her four children, and was the most amazing mother to them. She was always making sure they succeeded and were taken care of even in their adult years. Whenever her children would say "I love you" she would always respond back with "Love you more.".

Towards the end of her life, when the cancer progression had dramatically increased, LuAnn never lost her trusting spirit and would say "Gods got this.". LuAnn was a fighter until the very end and one of the strongest women you would ever meet. She will be deeply missed by all.

On Saturday, July 8, 2023, the visitation and funeral service for LuAnn will be held at Cedar Creek Community Church, 1414 1st Avenue in Grafton. Visitation will begin at 10:00am until 12:30pm. The funeral service will be at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grafton.

Susan Gagainis wrote a sympathy message

“I remember Luann as a strong, social and kind woman. A person could be a mile away from her, but if her eye caught your presence she’d run over, give a hug and ask, “hey, how are you”? Her strength will continue to pave pathways of endurance against the odds of a incurable illness. She will be missed, and her spirit will live within all she touched. We raise a special glass to Luann. God Bless you and keep you. Friends, Bill & Susan Gagainis”
