She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Janke and Edna Janke; her husband Andrew Gerek; her grandson Scott Hannack; her son-in-law Gary Hannack; and her brothers, Edward (late Phyllis) and Willard Janke (late Genevieve).
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Hannack (late Gary) of Chippewa Falls, Susan Christian (Robert) of Beaver Dam, Bette Jane Karnitz (Charles) of Newburg, Michael Gerek (Sharon) of Germantown and Robert Gerek (Mary Weber) of Rubicon; her grandchildren, Pamela Thornwall, Douglas Hannack, Michael Gerek (Amanda), Katie Schaalma, Megan Dague (Jason), Kevin Karnitz (Lindsay) and Bradley Karnitz (Amanda); her siblings, Doris Groth (Palmer) of West Bend, Bernice Haupt (Franklin), Kenneth Janke (late Vivian) of Grafton and Richard Janke (JoAnn) of Grafton; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Gerek (late Donna Rae) of Las Vegas and Emilie Kirst (late Herbert) of Port Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
