Joy was a long-time, faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend. During her working years she worked in the school system as a lunch lady and as a young lady she worked at Northwestern Mutual. She loved and enjoyed her beloved dogs Willie and Schnappy, bingo, embroidery, and nature.
Joy was one of the first residents at Village Pointe Commons in Grafton. A special place where she was part of a community, had many dear friends, where she enjoyed her wonderful apartment and called home.
Visitation for Joyan will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, N84 W17937 Menomonee Ave in Menomonee Falls, from 9:30AM until time of the Funeral Service at 11:00AM, followed by procession to her final resting place at Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend would be appreciated.
Thank you to the staff at Village Pointe Commons and Legacy Hospice for the tender care they gave to Joy.
