He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Anderson and Helen Anderson; his brothers, David and Arvid Anderson; and his niece Apryl.

He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole and Lindsay; his grandchildren, Logan, Mason, Joseph Jr. and Lilliana; his sons-in-law, Bryan and Joe; his wife Nancy (Ricca); and his siblings, Gloria, Norma and Phillip.

“Phillip loved his brother, James, who helped him many times after he was paralyzed from the waist down in a near-fatal accident on Feb. 19, 2001. James and Phil's brother-in-law, Steve, built a beautiful wheelchair ramp and did other repair projects at our Kenosha home. Phil has many fond memories of growing up with James on Michigan Upper Peninsula. Our condolences to James' wife, Nancy, and his entire family.
