She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Johanek and Joseph Johanek; her former husband Lloyd Wolter; and her husband Edward "Ed" Meier. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen (Richard), Steven (Sheryl), Karen (Michael) and Kevin; and her stepchildren, Robert (Lisa), Richard, Ronald (Deborah), Russell (Melissa) and Roger (Kirstin). She is also survived by siblings, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, among other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jo are appreciated to the Edward E. and Carol A. Meier Memorial Scholarship Endowment and/or to the charity of one's choice.
