He is survived by: his wife Carol Popp; his children, Elinor "Ellie" Schmidtke (Bob) and James "Jim" Popp (Kathy); his stepdaughter Holly Steffen; his brother-in-law Gary Brunner (Kris) of Ft. Myers, FL.; his grandchildren, Kelly Schmidtke (Pendaran Roberts) of Birmingham, England and Kristin Brewer (Will) of Woodinville, WA; and his great grandchild Elliot Brewer. He is also survived by cousins, and step nieces and nephews.
