He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elroy Scheer and Rita Scheer; his wife Mary Schmitz; his mother-in-law Helen Schmitz (late Elmer); his siblings, Richard Scheer (Shirley), Susan Pokey (Steve) and Michael Scheer (Deborah); his aunt Elvira Schmidt; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Rinzel (Steven), Lynn Podzilni (Doug) and Kathleen Staral (Michael); his sister Anne Scheer; his father-in-law Elmer Schmitz; and his grandparents, Frank, Edna Scheer, Arthur and Anne Clapham. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
