It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Else Thornton of Grafton, Wisconsin, born in Mission, South Dakota, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Hass and Valborg Hass; her spouse Elwin Thornton; her granddaughter Laura Pezzi; and her siblings, Hans Hass, Kris Schweitzer (Walt) and Greta Steever (Donald).
She is survived by: her children, Karen Pezzi (Al) of Tomahawk, Scott Thornton (Roz) of Wexford, PA, Elizabeth Faulds (Garret) of Colonial Beach, VA, Karl Thornton (Lynn) of Kewaskum and Nancy Koehler (Mark) of Grafton; her grandchildren, Paul Pezzi (Bridget), Hannah Pezzi (John), Ryan, Nicholas, Marina, Christian Thornton, Erin Walker (Andrew), Matthew Faulds (Katie), Zachary Thornton (Hope), Megan Thornton (Drew), CJ Koehler and Nathan Koehler; and her great grandchildren, A. B. Walker, Everett, Eloise and George Faulds. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
