She is survived by: her children, Mary Ellen Hillmer-Heezen (Teresa), Anne Burdakin, Judy Tegge (Mark) and Christopher Heezen (Roisin); her grandchildren, Michael Burdakin, Thomas Burdakin, Nathan Tegge, Makena Tegge, Kathryn Hillmer, Clare Hillmer, Anna Heezen and Isabel Heezen; and her parents, Irma Rentmeester (Tilkens) and Edward Rentmeester.
