He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Burnside and Hallie Burnside (Rice); his sister Shirley Marquardt; and his granddaughter Madeline Thorpe. He is survived by: his wife Judith Carson; and his children, Dana Thorpe (Dan), Tracy Prohuska (Robert), Scott Burnside (Chieko) and Nicole Prohuska. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and one great grandson.
