She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul and Grace. She is survived by: her brothers, Richard and Steven (Maureen); her nephews, Michael and Matthew (Nikki); her niece Jessica (Hans); and her sister-in-law Susan.
Throughout her life, Carol loved animals, donating to various welfare organizations and rescuing several dogs herself.
