She was predeceased by: her parents, John Deady and Mabel Deady (Hankins); her husband James P. Schaefer; her children, Betty Lynn Johnson and John A. Schaefer; her brother John "Jack" Deady; and her great grandchild Breanna Foix.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Van Domelen (Jerry) of Gordon, Roberta Schaefer of Burnsville, MN and James "Bud" Schaefer (Martha) of Minong; and her sister Janet Trader of Stoughton, WI. She is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
