He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Magnuson and Gertrude Magnuson (Vadman); and his siblings, Ellen Stuart, Evelyn Scott, Lloyd, Warren, Vincent, Ed and Leland Magnuson.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Hughes; his children, Gail Kaarto (Jack) of Gordon, WI and Kelly Magnuson (Linn) of Knapp, WI; his grandchildren, Richard Magnuson (Cindy) of Rosemont, MN, Jeremy Magnuson (Kim), Carla Magnuson (Justin Rock), Kelly Michael Magnuson (Crystal Brown) and Jason Nummi (Al Schombs); his great grandchildren, Loren, Nick, Jeremy, Colton, Chase, Tyler, Samantha, Amber, Skyler, Cassie, Stephen and Cadance; and his great great grandchildren, Melody, Owen, Tessa and Keegan. He is also survived by Grandpa Herb's birthday and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
