He is survived by: his stepfather Helge Helquist; his wife Judith Harstad; his daughter Debra Crooker (David) of Newport, WA; his son-in-law Peter Bromen of Duluth; his grandsons, Jeffrey, Nicholas Bromen and David Crooker; his great grandchildren, Noel, Elizabeth, Nathan, Niam and Emilia; his nieces and nephews, Kim Lander, Kevin Helquist and Teresa Tucker; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley, Ryan and Matthew.
