Susan Rich wrote a sympathy message

“Our deepest condolences to the family. I remember as a young girl going to the "Up North" weddings and Joey would be playing in the band. We used to call them the never ending Polka Band. It was always so much fun.. He was always smiling and so nice.”

Audrey Kostuch wrote a sympathy message

“Renee, Shawn and family, I was so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. I know he has dealt with so many health issues, but still surprised to hear this. I was glad to see him at the Sportsman’s Fund raiser even though briefly. Although I won’t be there in person on Thursday, know my heart will be with you all as you navigate this loss in your lives. I send my love and hugs and most importantly, prayers for heart healing. Love, cousin Audrey”
