She was predeceased by: her parents, Phyllis Kyler and Harold Kyler; and her siblings, Don, Howard and Nancy.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Mertig Sr.; her children, Cindy Beck (Ron), Wendy Bong (Kevin), Donna Mertig (Daniel Dahlman) and Don Mertig (Shannon); and her grandchildren, Ryan Beck, Marc Beck, Megan Sue Beck Peterson (Matthew), Randi Sue Bong, Ashley Mertig, Jordan Mertig, Jacob Mertig and Madison Mertig. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
