She was predeceased by: her parents, Lela Mortimer (Maurice) and Cornelius Gillespie of Janesville; her husband John "Hunts" Straetz; her granddaughter Crystal Soulier; and her brothers, Edward Gillespie, Willy Mortimer and Joe Mortimer.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya Ste (Ron), Yvonne Soulier of Mellen, Mark Soulier (Laurie) of Shell Lake, Philip Soulier of Mellen and Scott Straetz (Joanne) of Park Falls; and her siblings, Corrine Wakefield (Jesse) of Footville, Patricia Townsend of Friendship, Janice Scuddy of Janesville, Karolyn Pollock (Carl) of Mauston and Sherry Helling (Gus) of Janesville. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
