He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Hoffman and Alice Hoffman (White); his wife Mabel Voeltz; his grandparents, Charles and Emily Hoffman; his son Jerry; his brother Dr. Robert Hoffman; his siblings-in-law, Wanda Hoffman, Lois Voeltz, Marion Sage, Iona Voeltz, Robert Voeltz, LeRoy Voeltz, Clarence Luepke, Dick Prange and Sol Sage; his sons, David (Theresa) of Glenwood City, Ronald (Joyce) of Colfax and Neil (Annette) of Chetek; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Hoffman of Downing; his grandchildren, Eric (Amber), Scott (Katie), Kyle (Angie), Alexa, Bob (Ashley), Laura (Brent Haugle), Nathan (Shanna), Tammy (Derrick Oberle), Chelsea, Hillary and Josie (Brock Lien); and his siblings-in-law, Floyd Voeltz (Vonnie) of Scottsdale, AZ, Geraldine Luepke of Glenwood City, WI and Ethel Prange of Saluda, NC. He was also cherished by 17 great- grandchildren.

“In loving memory of William Charles Hoffman, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Regrettably, I didn't find about his passing until after the funeral. Special thoughts go out to Dave and Theresa and their immediate family. I am honored to call them my closest friends. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hoffman will be missed by so many but they will never be forgotten. Their legacy will continue on through their surviving family members. We will meet again one day.”
