He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Linda Scholer; his children, Tracy Heiner (Tom) and Jason Brandt; his siblings, Beverly Brooke, Barbara Kirk (John), Klover Schafer (Dennis), Douglas Brandt (Mary) and Rex Brandt (Janet); and also, Andrew Scholer (Amy) and Leah Spero (Ben). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
