She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Frederick and Vivian Frederick (Solum); her husband John Schmidt Sr.; and her grandson Derrick J. Horky. She is survived by: her children, Linda Olson (Howard), Douglas Schmidt (Marlene), Karetta Horky (Dale), John Schmidt Jr. and Steven Schmidt (Jolene); and her sister Jealene Frederick. She is also survived by sisters in law and many nieces, nephews and friends.
