He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thackray and Kathryn Thackray (Grebe); and his nephew Terrill G. Longrie. He is survived by: his sister Karen Longrie of Glenbeulah; his nephew Kerry Longrie (Gwen Aasen); and his children, Zane Longrie of Plymouth, Ingrid Longrie of Plymouth, Betsy Longrie and Maelie Longrie. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Robert's name for Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
