He was predeceased by: his father Fred Limberg Sr.; his parents-in-law, Mary and Elwyn Cary; and his siblings, Fred Limberg (Caroline), Ray Buhk (Emily), Dorothy Fink (Ray) and Florence Rooker (Ed).

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cary; his children, Todd Limberg of Greenbush, Ann Limberg of Sheboygan Falls, Amy Levsen (Mark), Terry Limberg (Ema) of Charlestown, IN and Lisa Limberg; his grandchildren, Jessica Ramel (Matthew), Emily, Sarah, Jacob, Luke Elwyn and Teresa Levsen; his great grandchildren, Mary and Rebekah Ramel; his siblings-in-law, Orlene Phipps (Walter), Ruth Cary of Glenbeulah and Dale Cary; and his nephew Walter Phipps Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Robert's name.
