He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Cooper and Catherine M. Jonas Cooper; his parents-in-law, Henry and Clara Nienow; his brothers, Jack Cooper, Dennis C. Cooper and David A. Cooper; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Nienow and Eunice Nienow.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Cooper of Glenbeulah; his children, Laurie Schmitz (John) of Fond, Lac, Daniel Cooper (Deanna) of St. Cloud, Cindy Midtbo (Todd) of Horicon, Jennifer Pollnow (Dale) of Cincinnati, OH, Amy Evraets (Kenneth) of St. Cloud and Chris Cooper (Lori) of St. Cloud; his grandchildren, Anthony, Eric and Adriana Schmitz (Marty); his children, Shawna, Jordan, Justin Cooper, Dana Higgins (Brennan), Brandon (Sandrine), Samantha, Timothy, Alana Berthiaume (Jeff), Andrew Evraets (Jenn), Erin Johnson (Kenny), Ryan Evraets, Lana Wilson (Cody) and Steve Cooper; his great grandchildren, Scott, Christine, Lauren, Tegan, Kenny, Jett, Brantley and Ava; his sister Patricia Cottrell (Allen) of Port Washington, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Madelyn Cooper of Decatur, IL, Gwen Haechtel (Fred) of Escondido, CA and Janet Nienow of West Bend.
