He is survived by: his son Ethan; his wife Barbara Zielicke; his siblings, Dave Hau (Barbara), Bob Hau (Jane), Jerry Hau (Julie), Ken Hau (Sandy), Mary Ferguson (Fred), Dean Hau (Kaye) and Gary Hau (Jenny); his sister-in-law Joan Hau; his mother-in-law Esther Zielicke; and his brothers-in-law, Randy Zielicke (Sharon) and Jim Zielicke. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
