She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Breuer and Agnes Breuer (Dresen). She is survived by: her children, Michelle Myhre (Wayne), Marie Fralick (John), Nancy Lambert (Dave), Joe Mergen (Lorraine), Jennifer Hochhausen (Brad), Sally Mergen, Barry Mergen (Shanon) and Mitch Mergen (Jessica); her siblings, Colleen Kreger, Judy Lanphier, Rosie Appleby (John) and Ron Breuer (Joy); and her nephew Stan Breuer. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, in memory of Verna, to St. Charles Catholic Church restoration project.
