He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Mason and Ruth Mason; his siblings, Eugene, Stan, Pete Mason (Clive) and Jill; his son Michael; and his granddaughter Esmae.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Edge; his sons, Matthew and Joseph (Amy); his daughter-in-law Rose Mason-Gould; his grandchildren, Emma, Lydia, Michaela, Connor, Bryce, Levi and Ben; his stepgrandchildren, Mallory, Hogan and Brooklyn; and his sisters, Doris Clevidence, Virginia Ziegler, Shirley Meier and Linda Hoffman (Duane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
