He was predeceased by: his father Norbert Kirschbaum; and his brother-in-law Roger Schildgen. He is survived by: his mother Erma Kirschbaum (Hill) of Lancaster; his close friend Co-Co Miller of Glen Haven; his children, Nicole "Nicky" McDonald (Tim) of Mineral Point and Katilee; his stepgranddaughter Amanda Dahlheimer (Andy); his stepgreat-grandson Calon Dahlheimer; and his siblings, Darlene Schildgen of Glen Haven, Pat Ploessl (Steve) of Bloomington, Dan Kirschbaum (Diane) of Holmen, Lynn Kirschbaum (Ann Klossing) of Glen Haven and Neil Kirschbaum (Janet) of Cassville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
