He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Jackson and Connie Jackson (Rajek); his sister Carol Young (Edna); his son Steven Jackson; and his siblings-in-law, Edward, Florence Schielke, Marjorie Rajek (Harold) and Mary Heller (Joe).

He is survived by: his wife Edna Schielke; his son Dan Jackson (Mary Bauman); his daughter-in-law Heidi Jackson; his granddaughter Katie Jackson (Mike Suick); his great grandchild Julian Gillis; his brother-in-law Tom Young; his nieces, Mary Jo Rajek, Amy Hanneman, Julie Fries and Pam Young; his nephew Scott Young; and his caregivers, Jean Riehle, Tammy Cohrs and Alan Bessette.
