He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hovey and Allie Hovey (Klevgard); his wife Inez Fredrickson; his son Mark; his great grandchild Wyatt Hunt; his son-in-law Hewitt Pfund; and his siblings, Lenore Larson, Ruth Peterson, Mary Ann Starks, Dennison, Delaine and Amos.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Vold (Gary) of Fall Creek, Ronald Hovey (Connie) of Gilmanton and Violet Ashbaugh (Mike) of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Corey Hovey (Lori) of Gilmanton, Kerri Johnson (Mike) of Gilmanton, Kelly Hunt (Ryan) of Chippewa Falls and Jon Vold (Kim) of Altoona; his brother Bob Hovey of Gilmanton; and his sister-in-law Elsa Hovey of Minneapolis. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be given to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, East Bennett Valley Cemetery, Gilmanton American Legion Post #264, or any memorial of your choice.
