With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle C Urness of Gilmanton, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 19, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Knute Urness and Luella Urness; his wife Shirley Mae Everson; his brothers, Ken, Duane, Russell and Leslie Urness; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Faye, Lela Urness and Dale Erickson.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Michelle (Micci); his children, Tim (Ellen), Micci (Greg Weiss), Matt (Sherry) and Craig (Tonia); his grandchildren, Josh (Claire), Zack (Haley), Nick Urness, Derrick Weiss (Steph), Ashley Bauer (Jordan), Curtis, Lucas, Bryce, Alex and Caitlyn Urness; his great grandchildren, Jade, Levi Urness and Rhett Bauer; his siblings, Laverne Urness (Dorothy), Mavis Erickson and Carol Endle (John); and his sister-in-law Darlene Urness. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
