He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon George and Eunice Marian Spence (Fisk); his former wife Mary Jo; his siblings, Vernon, Wayne Spence and Evelyn Vanasse; his siblings-in-law, Anita Spence, Don Richardson and David Reese; and his granddaughter Monica Josephine Spence.
He is survived by: his wife Laurel Spence; his children, Russell "Mick" Spence, Jr. (Darran), Suzanne and Claire Spence; his stepdaughter Sophie Callahan (Jared); his stepgrandchildren, Jet and Milo; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Griffin and Russell Spence III. He is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
