He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Fischer and Paula Weber (Runge); his stepfather Herbert Weber; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Krueger and Carol Lynch.
He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Ralph Fischer, Rebecca Edler, Susan Ladwig (Rich), Ruth Fischer, Amy Williams (Lou) and Ellen Matson; his brother Roger Fischer (Mary) of Bowler; and his siblings-in-law, Geraldine Siegel of Watertown, Dolores Jacobson (Jake) of Berry Lake, Kerianna Fuhrmann (Martin) of Oshkosh, David Krueger (Karen) of Milwaukee and Doug Krueger (Kathy) of Gillett. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
