He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloys Spang and Ruth Spang (Anker). He is survived by: his wife Nathalie; his children, Pam Schmit (Mike), James G. Spang (Donna) and Ruth Spang (Jeff Thomson); his grandchildren, Stephanie Spang-Magee (Josh), Casey Schmit, Andrea Beaumier, Jennifer Spang (Devin Kohls) and Cody Schmit; and his pet Lucky.
