Robin L. Bird Obituary

Age 68 years, of Germantown, WI. Robin found peace on Monday February 17, 2025. He was the beloved husband of 42 years to Terri, loving brother of Patti (the late Michael) Fischer, Gene Sr. (Germaine), and Jeff (Erin). Son in-law to Eunice Drifka. Brother in-law to Dale (Wendy) Drifka, Tony Drifka, Debbi (Ken) Knapp, Jenni (Darin) Ewert. He is also survived by many dearly loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Ruben Bird, his mother, Laverne (nee Arnold), and his father-in-law Clarence Drifka.

Robin owned RT's Sports Corner Bar & Grill for 20 years. It was one of his greatest joys where many friendships were created. Prior to this he also followed in his father's footsteps at Mid-City Foundry for 30 years where he started with entry level work and became their plant superintendent.

Robin lived and loved life to the fullest and proudly wore his Sports Corner "Colors" wherever he went, so please feel free to wear yours at his memorial! Visitation for Robin will be held on Sunday, March 2 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls from 2 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 5 PM. Food & beverages will be available in the community room during the visitation with a gathering to follow at Stags Tavern (formerly Sports Corner Bar & Grill), Germantown, WI to reminisce & share more stories.

Robin was a proud supporter of his community. One of his favorite & most successful fundraisers was the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight golf outing. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Stars & Stripes Honor Flight would be appreciated.
