Norman J. Bejna Obituary

Born to eternal life on June 22, 2024 at the age of 88. Born to life on February 4, 1936, lived a life full of joy, love, and adventure. Married to his beloved Claudia A. Bejna on June 17, 1961, they shared over fifty wonderful years together until Claudia's passing on April 14, 2015. Norm's heart and home were filled with love, shared with his three children, Terry (Chris), Jeff (Shelley), and Jim (Amy), and his treasured grandchildren: Ryan (Stephanie), Nicole, Brett, Morgan, Jacob, Elizabeth, Maggie, Katelyn, Ava, and Tommy. The family joyfully welcomed Lilian, Norm's great-grandchild from Ryan and Stephanie.

Norm was a proud Army veteran who served his country with honor, receiving an honorable discharge. His love for the outdoors was evident in every aspect of his life. An avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoor enthusiast, Norm continued to enjoy gun deer hunting as recently as November 2023. His passion for nature was matched only by his love for his family and friends.

Norm retired from Briggs and Stratton after 33 years, where he worked as a set-up machinist. Known for his exceptional cooking skills, Norm delighted in preparing meals, whether at a local supper club or at home. His faithful devotion to Claudia and his family was unwavering, and he was always eager to stay connected with loved ones, often reaching out via his cell phone for a chat.

Norm is preceded in death by his parents, James Bejna (1991) and Vera Bejna (née Goodenough) (1964). He is survived by his sister, Donna Leverson, who lives in Washington. His life was a testament to the joy of family, the beauty of nature, and the strength of love and connection. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and cherished memories. Norm's spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him, reminding us of the importance of living life to the fullest and cherishing those we hold dear.

Norman J. Bejna will be deeply missed, but his joyful and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Visitation will be held at ST. BONIFACE CATHOLIC CHURCH - SIPPEL HALL, W204N11940 Goldendale Rd, Germantown, WI 53022, Friday, June 28 from 10:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 12:00 p.m.
