Joan Irene Lanphear Obituary
Of Germantown. (nee Slattery) Joan went to be with Jesus on July 6, 2022 at the age of 82 years old. Beloved wife to Gerald for 57 years. Loving sister of Richard "Dick" (Virginia) Slattery. Loving aunt of Jill (Mark) McGovern, Jeremiah, and Jacob (Jenny) Slattery. Joan will be missed by her grandniece; Callie and grandnephews; Jack, Owen, Emmitt, and Alex; other relatives, many friends and former students.
Joan was a graduate of Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN and she taught in Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod Schools for 44 years.
Visitation Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Salem Ev. Lutheran Church, 6840 N 107th St. in Milwaukee from 9:30AM until time of the Memorial Service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Salem Ev. Lutheran Church Organ Fund would be appreciated.
